Job Purpose:
The Quality & Sustainability Executive plays a vital role in upholding service excellence across all departments while supporting the resort’s long-term commitment to environmental and social responsibility. This position acts as a bridge between operations, guest feedback, and sustainability initiatives—ensuring continuous improvement, compliance with internal standards, and integration of sustainable practices throughout daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Assurance & Service Standards:
Monitor daily operations to ensure consistency with the brand’s service standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits in front office, housekeeping, F&B outlets, spa, and other guest-facing areas.
Support in updating, implementing, and communicating SOPs to relevant departments.
Analyze guest feedback (surveys, online reviews, direct feedback) and coordinate with relevant teams to identify root causes and follow up on corrective actions.
Prepare monthly quality reports with insights and suggestions for improvement.
Participate in mystery audits, brand audits, and pre-audit preparations.
2. Sustainability & Environmental Responsibility:
Assist in the implementation of sustainability strategies aligned with the hotel’s ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) goals.
Monitor and track environmental indicators such as energy consumption, water usage, chemical use, and waste generation.
Collaborate with departments to promote eco-friendly initiatives (e.g. reducing single-use plastic, composting, upcycling programs, green guest experiences).
Assist in preparing sustainability reports and ensuring compliance with relevant local and group-wide standards or certifications (e.g. EarthCheck, Green Key, LEED).
Drive awareness campaigns, workshops, and communication to engage associates in sustainability culture.
3. Internal Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
Work closely with departmental champions to embed quality and sustainability goals into daily operations.
Support training sessions or briefings on service excellence and green practices for line staff.
Facilitate interdepartmental coordination to solve service gaps or implement sustainable changes effectively.
Participate in community engagement or CSR projects organized by the hotel.
