• Reporting to VP Manufacturing, the General Manager of Vietnam Site Manufacturing Operations (“the GM”) is expected to develop and implement effective Operation strategies and Site organisations to meet corporate goals and lead the operations team to strive for long term manufacturing competitiveness. The candidate will be a full-time employee of Ryder, based in Dong Nai Province, Vietnam.
• Leading all site functional teams including HR and Admin.
• Collaborating with BUs and Corporate functional teams, the GM will take the lead to develop and implement operation systems, procedures and processes, and take full responsibilities for manufacturing quality, on time delivery, cost management and other key performance targets, as well as formulating the Annual Operation Plans (AOP) and budget.
• Working closely with his/her Site management team to monitor the effectiveness and efficiency of operation systems and procedures, ensure people and other manufacturing resources are well planned and deployed.

• Technical/engineering background.
• Minimum 5 years’ working experience.
• At least 3 years’ experience at a senior managerial position.
• Strong leadership with good people & organization development capabilities in terms of coaching and performance management.
• Experience at leading and managing manufacturing site operation teams and technical personnel, staffing, reviews and goal setting.
• Ability to work and communicate with different levels within the organization structure.
• Preferred: from multi-national company or regional company.
• Confident and mature with strong management skills.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to strategize and execute.
• High degree of ethical values.
• Ability to listen and respect colleagues’ opinions and ideas.
• Continuously improve team’s skills and performance.
• Clear thinking, open and willing to challenge.
