Daily Inbound operation

• Liaise with freight forwarder to determine best mode of transport (Air/Ocean/Truck) based on cost and lead-time to proceed import shipping under Incoterms “F”.

• Oversee daily shipping and delivery processes of goods according to company’s lead-time KPI.

• Monitor performance of local transportation vendors and take remedial actions to improve current SOP.

• Collaborate with Planning and Project team to ensure efficient and timely handling of shipments.

Monthly Report

• Analyze freight trends and volume to identify potential cost saving opportunity.

• Investigate failure cases, identify discrepancy in terms of shipping process to escalate critical issues for innovation.

• Prepare monthly logistics data related to transportation activities in terms of KPI, cost, mode, volume, vendor…ETC.

Yêu cầu công việc

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Logistics or a related field.

- Strong understanding of international transportation, specifically Incoterms.

- Proficient in shipping procedures and familiar with freight/surcharges for various transport modes (Air/Ocean/Truck).

- Skilled in data analysis using Microsoft Excel, including creating charts and pivot tables.

- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with freight forwarders and vendors.

- Strong problem-solving abilities to handle discrepancies and improve current SOPs.

- Ability to work collaboratively with planning and project teams to ensure efficient shipment handling.

- Experience in preparing and analyzing monthly logistics reports related to transportation activities.

- Detail-oriented with the ability to monitor and improve vendor performance
