Coordinate with other internal engineering disciplines to achieve successful, functional and innovative designs for our clients;
Coordinate with other building disciplines (architectural, structural, electrical, civil, etc.) to ensure compatibility with the design intent;
Assists with the development of job specific discipline specifications;
Field survey and observation work required for construction activities;
Participates in client project requirement meetings and value analysis and basic cost estimating;
Responsible for projects of average complexity/size;
Participates in constructability review;
Conducts quality assurance and quality control on own projects;
Engages in the development of a design through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats;
Performs and oversees the performance of calculations using company standard software, and proprietary manufacturer software;
Development of Plumbing and Fire Protection Drawings;
Design and documentation of Plumbing and Fire Protection systems;
Assists in the development of new standards and specifications for the mechanical group;
Survey and document existing conditions;
Preparation of Contract Documents using Revit and AutoCAD software
